Three charged after South Surrey extortion-related shooting

Three individuals appeared in Surrey Provincial Court on Feb 5 after an early-morning shooting and arson in Crescent Beach on Feb 1.

Each faces one count of discharging a firearm into a place. Police say the incident—shots fired and a small fire set outside a home—is believed to be extortion-related.

The three remain in custody. Next court date: Feb 11.
