What We Are

The Alliance Against Organized Coercion and Targeted Extortion is a community resource hub — not a government agency, not law enforcement, and not a legal services provider. We exist to make sure South Asian communities in Canada have clear, accurate, culturally informed information about extortion threats and where to get help.

We are:

  • Educators — producing plain-language guides in multiple languages
  • Connectors — linking people to professional services (police, victim services, legal aid)
  • Community facilitators — providing tools for neighbourhoods, businesses, and faith communities to support each other safely
  • Information curators — tracking public news and official reports with source transparency
